Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain copies of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them only to answer your message.

Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable technology may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.

The information above helps us run the site, diagnose faults, assess traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to City of Frederick departments, Frederick County and Maryland records offices, library collections, government portals, or outside search tools. Information submitted on a linked service is controlled by that service's privacy terms rather than ours. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That Process Data
Providers that host or support Frederick People Search may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may also receive the automatically collected information described above. We disclose data when valid legal process compels us to do so, but otherwise do not share visitor information.
